Job summary

Great Walstead School in the Sussex countryside is seeking a Catering/Support Assistant to help prepare service and dining areas, assist with food service, and clean equipment and utensils, ensuring high standards of hygiene and safety.

The role supports the dining operation for pupils aged 2½ to 13, working in a team that upholds safeguarding, equal opportunities, and data protection policies; an enhanced DBS check is required.

Job description

The role involves assisting in the preparation of service and dining areas, food service, cleaning of equipment, utensils and working areas whilst maintaining correct levels of Health and Safety.
