Job summary

Outwood Grange Academies Trust is seeking a Midday Supervisor for Outwood Academy Kirkhamgate in Wakefield. The role ensures the health, safety and well-being of students during lunchtimes, including dining hall supervision and maintaining a safe, orderly environment.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication and teamwork, with caring approaches and the ability to intervene quickly when issues arise. DBS check is mandatory, and some training may be required.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, teamwork and caring skills required.
• Willingness to obtain or enhance qualifications and training.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health, safety and well-being of students during lunchtime.
• Supervise in dining hall and other designated areas, modelling good conduct.
• Intervene in behavioural issues using positive strategies.
• Help manage dining environment; clear tables and tidy equipment to keep areas safe.
• Refer serious concerns to the Principal when needed.
