Job summary

Greenleas School is seeking a Midday Supervisor to join our friendly midday team. You will help children in the hall during lunch, assist younger children with knife and fork skills, and encourage social interactions among pupils.

After lunch, you will supervise the playground, support games and activities, and contribute to a restorative approach to behaviour. The role is term-time only, 8.75 hours per week, with opportunities for professional development and a welcoming, collaborative staff

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a school setting preferred.
• Ability to promote safety and well-being of all children.
• Willingness to engage with outdoor learning opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Assist children in the hall during lunchtimes.
• Support youngest children with knife and fork skills and table manners.
• Encourage older children in social interaction and play.
• Supervise the playground and supervise games and activities.
• Support the school's restorative approach to behaviour and safety.
