Job summary

The Isle of Man Government is seeking a Lunchtime Assistant for the Specialist Provision Centre at Bunscoill Rhumsaa. This term-time role supports a positive lunchtime environment so children with special educational needs feel safe, included and confident.

You’ll encourage play, social interaction and practical support during a key part of the school day.

Job description

This role is term time, which means that the gross annual salary advertised will be reduced proportionately based on the number of weeks worked during the academic year. Term time employees are contracted to work 38 weeks per year.

Please note that the full time equivalent for this position is 37 hours, so roles advertised with contracted hours less than 37 will be classed as part time. The gross annual salary advertised will be reduced based on the part time hours.

As a Lunchtime Assistant in the Specialist Provision Centre at Bunscoill Rhumsaa, you'll help create a positive, supportive environment where children with special educational needs can feel safe, included and confident. From encouraging play and social interaction to providing practical support, you'll be there during an important part of the school day.
