Salary: Grade 2, £5,517 - £5,604 per annum. £12.65 - £12.85 per hour

3 x 10 hours per week, term time working 38 weeks per year

Required as soon as possible after pre-employment clearances have been received.

The Governors of Rowan Tree Primary School are wishing to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Level 1 Lunchtime Assistant who has experience of working with children with additional needs.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is passionate about helping children with special educational needs.
  • Is able to support children with SEN.
  • Is able to support with a range of additional needs in line with school practices and policies e.g. behaviour managementpersonal care, promoting life skills, developing play skills
  • Will join in with school life and the wider school community.

Ideally any prospective applicants would be able to visit school during a lunchtime duty session to experience the duties carried out by lunchtime assistants and observe the care and nurture of our pupils.
