Job summary

Priestmead Primary School and Nursery in London is inviting applications for a Lunchtime Assistant to support a busy, friendly team. You will help create a safe, positive lunchtime environment and encourage active play among pupils.

The role focuses on safeguarding, clear communication with children, parents and staff, and contributing to the wider life of the school. If you are calm, organised and reliable, this role offers a welcoming community and opportunities to develop within The Pegasus

Qualifications

• Enjoys working with children and understands the importance of positive relationships.
• Is calm, organised and able to respond effectively to a range of situations.
• Can promote positive behaviour and ensure all children, including those with SEND and additional needs, feel safe, happy and included.
• Is proactive in organising lunchtime activities and encouraging active play.
• Communicates clearly and professionally with pupils, parents and staff.
• Understands safeguarding, health and safety and pupil wellbeing, reporting incidents per procedures.
• Ensures health and safety of pupils and follows reporting processes.
• Is flexible, reliable and contributes to wider life of the school.
• Has strong spoken English and communication skills.

Priestmead Primary School is seeking to appoint a caring, organised and proactive Lunchtime Assistant to join our dedicated team.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring our pupils experience a safe, positive and enjoyable lunchtime environment. We are looking for someone who can support our lunchtime assistant team and build strong relationships with children and staff.

We are seeking someone who:

• Has strong spoken English and communication skills.
