Job summary

Kids Planet Horsham is seeking an Early Years Educator – Lunch Cover to join our caring team. This part-time role runs from 11:00 to 14:00, supporting children's lunchtime routines, encouraging imaginative play, and helping children thrive in a warm, safe setting.

Qualifications

• Desirable Level 2 qualification or higher in a UK recognised early years qualification.
• Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage, or enthusiasm to learn more.
• Knowledge of safeguarding children.

Responsibilities

• Support children during lunchtime and mealtimes to ensure a positive mealtime experience.
• Assist nursery team with daily routines and activities.
• Help maintain a safe, welcoming learning environment for children.

What an Early Years Educator – Lunch Cover needs:

• Desirable but not essential to be Level 2 qualified or higher in a UK recognised early years qualification.


• An understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage, or an enthusiasm to learn more.


• Knowledge of safeguarding children.
