Job summary

Kids Planet Padiham is seeking an Early Years Educator – Lunch Cover to join our caring team. You’ll support children during mealtimes, help daily routines, and contribute to a safe, welcoming learning environment where curiosity thrives and imaginative play is encouraged.

This part-time role runs from 11am to 2pm. Level 2 UK EY qualification is desirable, with EYFS knowledge and safeguarding awareness encouraged.

Qualifications

• Level 2 UK EY qualification is desirable but not essential.
• Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) or willingness to learn more.
• Knowledge of safeguarding children.

Responsibilities

• Provide support during mealtimes, assisting children and ensuring a positive mealtime experience.
• Work collaboratively with the nursery team to support daily routines and activities.
• Maintain safe, welcoming, and engaging learning environments for children.

What an Early Years Educator – Lunch Cover needs:

• Desirable but not essential to be Level 2 qualified or higher in a UK recognised early years qualification.

• Knowledge of safeguarding children.
