About this role

The PR Director, lululemon EMEA and Global Franchise, is responsible for creating and executing innovative storytelling that earns media to build brand awareness, familiarity and equity. They lead the regional PR function and are a member of the EMEA Brand Leadership Team, reporting into the Senior Director of Brand Marketing, EMEA. lululemon operates in 9 markets within EMEA plus 15 markets through global franchise partners. Regional PR efforts are weighted towards the UK, Germany, France, Spain and Italy.

Core responsibilities
  • Develop and guide the external consumer media strategy and execution for EMEA.
  • Build and cultivate meaningful relationships with key media and industry influencers.
  • Create dynamic public-facing storytelling and experiences that earn media and support the company purpose.
  • Inspire and develop the in-house PR team.
  • Partner with EMEA Brand Marketing leaders, contributing to an effective and measurable local strategy that drives brand awareness, familiarity, and growth.
  • Collaborate and co-create with Social, Partnerships, Sports Marketing, and work closely with peers across Corporate Communications, Global and Regional PR, and Internal Communications to ensure one brand voice across audiences.
  • Lead EMEA PR agencies across the UK, Germany, France, Spain, and Italy.
  • Coach franchise partners and their agencies on PR strategy.
  • Manage strategic materials, budgets, and reporting tools.
Qualifications, skills & experience
  • 12+ years of relevant in-house and/or agency experience across consumer PR, ideally for a premium, purpose-led, global business. Retail experience preferred.
  • Success leading and developing a team of PR professionals, creating opportunities for growth.
  • Outstanding written, presentation and verbal communications skills, with the ability to distil messages into clear, compelling communications in a variety of formats.
  • Possession of existing press relationships and a strong understanding of the regional media/digital landscape.
  • Ability to articulate and co-create strategies with a wide range of people including senior leaders, agency partners, and employees at all levels of experience.
  • Details‑oriented and able to thrive in a fast‑pace, deadline‑driven environment.
  • Proven people development expertise.
  • Fluent English speaker; fluency in French, German, Spanish or Italian a plus.
