Hours: 37 hours per week Rotational Physiotherapist Aberdeen Royal Infirmary

Overview

The Acute Physiotherapy team at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary are looking to recruit a full‑time permanent post. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in expanding their knowledge and experience of acute hospital working.

Responsibilities

Providing specialist physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis, treatment and discharge planning. Working as part of an MDT is vital.

Rotation Details
  • Annual rotation through HDU, ITU, Acute Stroke, Neurosurgery, Medical specialities, Trauma, Frailty, and other regional specialist units.
  • Contribute to weekend and/or on‑call services.
  • Potential 5/7 rotation in some rotations as NHS Grampian is proactively working towards 7‑day services.
Additional Information

As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will reduce from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part‑time hours will be reduced pro‑rata but there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so pay will not be affected.
