Are you ready to take your SLT career to the next level? We’re looking for a passionate, skilled, and forward‑thinking Speech and Language Therapist to join our Acute Adult SLT team in a newly created Band 7 role.

This is your opportunity to shape how SLT supports frailty care at the hospital front door and beyond.

  • Be a changemaker: This post is part of the Discharge Without Delay (DWD) initiative, designed to improve patient flow and reduce unnecessary admissions.

  • Lead with impact: Your early assessments will contribute directly to comprehensive geriatric care, influencing outcomes from the moment patients arrive.
What You’ll Be Doing
  • Deliver specialist SLT assessment and input in fast‑paced acute and emergency settings.
  • Build strong links with Aberdeen City Health & Social Care Partnership SLT teams.
  • Support admission prevention and safe discharge planning.
  • Contribute to MDT education and service development.
  • Bring innovation to how SLT supports frailty care in front door services.
