Job summary

Flogas is seeking a Yard Hand to join our depot team. You’ll safely fill LPG cylinders, load and unload, and help keep stock topped up to keep drivers moving and customers connected. Safety is our priority and you’ll follow procedures to protect yourself and colleagues.

We value team spirit, initiative and clear communication. Training for handling hazardous materials and forklift operations is provided, with a full driving licence desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle heavy LPG cylinders safely.
• Commitment to health, safety and wellbeing at work.
• Team-oriented with initiative and multi-tasking abilities.
• Clear communication with colleagues and customers.
• Experience with safe handling of hazardous goods; forklift training preferred (training provided).
• Full driving licence desirable.

Responsibilities

• Safely fill LPG cylinders following safety regulations and procedures.
• Ensure efficient stock control of LPG cylinders to support daily operations.
• Safely load and unload cylinders from vehicles and trailers.
• Follow health and safety regulations and company procedures.
• Identify and report near misses and hazards to promote safety.
• Handle heavy objects using proper lifting techniques.
