The Chelsea Nursery provides the vital foundations for a child's educational journey, supporting their early years development while engendering a love of learning through an academic curriculum that is specifically tailored for each child. This prepares our children for an effortless transition into pre-prep education and beyond.

Job Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen at The Chelsea Nursery to join our team in delivering a full‑year, broad‑based, rich and academically excellent curriculum for our 6‑month‑to‑4‑year‑old children as they prepare for transition to an academic prep school. You will play a part in delivering a high‑quality, academically focused early years education while providing a safe, nurturing environment within which our children can grow.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience
  • Minimum Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification (or other full and relevant Early Years qualification)
  • Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and legislation governing childcare (e.g., Safeguarding).
Duties
Provide high‑quality care and education to children aged 6 months‑4 years.
  • Plan and implement EYFS‑appropriate activities, ensuring they are stimulating and engaging.
  • Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.

    Schedule

    40‑hour week, flexible working patterns within Monday to Friday 8 am to 6 pm.
