About the Role

Lounge Receptionist at United Airlines Lounges Terminal 2 Heathrow Airport.

You must be able to provide a full 5-year employment history, including any criminal record details. Permanent full‑time employment will be offered upon successful completion of the probation period and airport pass clearance.

Package Description
  • 39.66 hours per week
  • Starting from £13.70 per hour
  • Shift pattern: 2 early shifts, 2 late shifts, followed by 2 days off
  • Early shift: 04:30-13:30
  • Late shift: 13:15-22:15
  • Permanent – Full time (subject to successful probation and airport pass clearance)

Main Responsibilities
  • Ensure the highest level of customer care is adhered to at all times.
  • Be familiar with location of the lounge, facilities and access policies to advise passengers.
  • Acknowledge and orientate all incoming guests: usage count should be based in access right. The priority is Class over rules status.
  • Handle customers involved in any irregular operations in conjunction with CX representatives.
  • Manage and keep stock of magazines and newspapers provided and make them available to customers (must be current or at most one day before).
  • Be familiar with basic PC/Internet troubleshooting knowledge.
  • Demonstrate a can‑do attitude towards individual customer requests and strive to exceed customer expectations.
  • Ensure that customer complaints are promptly dealt with, and action taken to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Acquire a good knowledge of all products in order to be able to advise individual client/customer on their product choice.
  • Actively aid customer feedback, passing information gained onto your line manager.
  • Take and pass on messages accurately to ensure excellent communication across all disciplines.
  • Prepare to assist colleagues in a willing and positive manner including assisting with other duties as required.
  • Attend all related training sessions and meetings.
  • Cover other reception areas within the building if required.

  • Previous experience working in a reception role is a must.
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and behave appropriately.
  • Excellent customer service.
  • Good communication skills – written and verbal.
