A leading catering company is seeking a Lounge Host at Gatwick Airport. This role involves providing a friendly and professional service to customers, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and service. Whenever customers visit the British Airways Lounges at Gatwick Airport, you’ll be there to greet them with 5-star, BaxterStorey service. Friendly, confident and professional, you’ll be the face of our bespoke operation, making sure that delicious food and relaxation are available to every visitor.
Your task will be to uphold our high standards by making sure that our customers get a great experience. That means being smart, cheerful and approachable, keeping counters and displays in tip-top condition, clearing tables promptly, and making sure BA specifications and guests’ expectations are met on every shift.
This role operates on a 4/2 shift pattern involving two early shifts starting from 04:30, followed by two late shifts typically finishing between 20:30 and 21:30, followed by two days off. We are open seven days per week including bank holidays.
Please note that this role is based at an international airport and therefore, successful applicants will require photographic ID, and pass a basic disclosure which we will apply for. In order to apply for an airside pass we will require verifiable evidence of your past five years of work/education history.
