Job summary

Aston Charles Ltd and a leading loss assessing firm seek an experienced Loss Assessor to cover the North West. You will survey damaged properties and prepare detailed scopes of works for insurers and loss adjusters, negotiating settlements to secure the best outcome for policyholders.

Ideal candidates have project management experience in insurance or construction, strong communication skills, and a valid driving licence. A company vehicle and benefits accompany a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Experience in insurance or construction industry preferred.
• Willing to attend training courses to upskill.
• Ability to survey properties and prepare scope of works.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Meet with policyholders to discuss and survey damaged properties.
• Produce a scope of works for repairs covered under the policy.
• Determine the condition and construction of buildings.
• Meet insurers' representatives on site to validate and negotiate settlements.
• Project manage sub-contractors on site and oversee reinstatement works to completion.
