Loss Adjuster

Established in 2013, we have offices in Shrewsbury, London and Cheltenham and are going through a period of growth to meet the needs of our expanding client base.

We are seeking an experienced Loss Adjuster to investigate a portfolio of Latent Defect Claims on both a delegated and retained authority basis. The position would also suit an experienced Building Surveyor skilled in residential buildings claims / defect diagnosis / building pathology. You will be home-based and are expected to travel to test sites throughout the UK.

Job Location: Hybrid working

Job Type: Full-time (Mon-Fri).

Responsibilities

• Undertake loss adjusting services on an allocated portfolio of Latent Defect Insurance Claims, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Attend site visits / on-site meetings to investigate causation and cover.

Qualifications/Experience

• Experience as a Loss Adjuster handling Latent Defect Claims, with delegated and/or retained authority.
• Building Surveyor background with skills in residential buildings claims, defect diagnosis and building pathology.
• Willingness to work from home and travel across the UK for site tests and investigations.
