A leading actuarial consulting firm is seeking a Longevity Inforce Management Actuary in London. The role involves managing the global longevity reinsurance portfolio, performing technical tasks, and overseeing junior team members. Job description

Key Duties (Including but not limited to):

  • Performing and reviewing technical tasks, including experience analysis, validating client data, claims, premium, and settlement calculations
  • Providing oversight and support to more junior team members, ensuring consistent quality and adherence to process
  • Helping assess operational implications of new treaties before signing, and supporting business onboarding activities across functions
  • Contributing to process improvements, including documentation and IT platform enhancements, to boost efficiency and support future growth
  • Qualified or nearly qualified actuary
  • 3+ years of experience in pensions, insurance, or reinsurance
  • Strong actuarial technical knowledge and skillset including excel modelling, working with large data sets, actuarial experience studies and assumption settings
  • Knowledge in other programming languages such as R and Python is a strong plus
