A regional educational entity in Warminster seeks a Long Term Substitute Educational Consultant to support classroom teams in special education. The role involves coaching, attending IEP meetings, and providing professional development. Candidates need a Bachelor's or Master's degree along with PA Special Education Certification. Experience in Autistic and Multiple Disability Support is advantageous. This is a full-time position requiring travel to various locations within Bucks County.

The Long Term Substitute Educational Consultant, an experienced special education teacher, provides ongoing coaching, feedback, and support to assigned classroom teams in Bucks IU School Aged classrooms and/or school district classrooms.The Long Term Substitute Educational Consultant must have training and expertise in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis to recommend current, effective evidence-based instructional practices. This individual must be well versed in effective classroom management, assessment, program development, instructional delivery and materials, data collection, data analysis, and progress monitoring. This individual may attend IEP meetings, provide professional development (small and large group) and consult with district liaisons.
This job reports to Supervisor of Special Education.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit and use hands. The employee is frequently required to walk; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
This is a full-time, 193-day calendar position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday. Hours are dependent on the needs of the districts. Occasional evening and/or weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Will be required to travel to itinerant locations throughout Bucks County and surrounding regions.
Citizenship or work authorization to work in the United States required.
