Long Term Conditions Specialist Podiatrist

Are you an experienced and motivated podiatrist with a passion for improving outcomes for patients with long‑term conditions? We have an exciting opportunity for a Long Term Conditions Specialist Podiatrist to join our dedicated and forward‑thinking team.

The post holder will act as a clinical specialist for patients at high risk of tissue and function loss, focusing on tissue viability. You will lead on and educate your colleagues and junior staff regarding peripheral vascular disease and tissue viability, and serve as the main contact for this area within your team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day‑to‑day clinical provision of Foot Health Services for your clinics.
  • Assist the Clinical Lead Podiatrist in delivering appropriate, equitable and effective Foot Health Services.
  • Lead the development of the Foot Health Service for patients and team members.
  • Supervise clinical staff and oversee their induction.
  • Provide specialist skills in wound management, sharp debridement of difficult/necrotic wounds, and perform vascular assessments including ABPIs and toe pressures.
