Each day our values will help to guide our decisions and what is most important to us:
Our prevention priorities, Cardiorenal Metabolic Disease, Respiratory Health and Cancer are the biggest drivers of poor health and health inequalities, affecting all aspects of our population’s lives. This role is at the heart of the ICBs mission to improve health outcomes and reduce inequalities for our communities.
It is an exciting time to join the team as the ICB continues its transition towards a strategic commissioning function, with a renewed focus on prevention, population health and reducing health inequalities. A key aspect of the role will be using evidence, data, population health insights and best practice to inform commissioning decisions, identify opportunities for improvement and develop population health management approaches that address unwarranted variation, improve outcomes and reduce health inequalities.
With strong influencing and relationship-building skills, you will be able to foster productive partnerships across organisational boundaries, engaging clinical and operational leaders, local authorities, the voluntary sector and other stakeholders to design and deliver sustainable change. You will also demonstrate a strong understanding of national NHS priorities and policy, with the ability to translate strategic ambition into measurable local delivery.
