Job summary

Drophex Logistics Ltd. is seeking a driver at our Romford depot to operate Luton and 7.5t vehicles across London and surrounding counties. You will be part of a crew, loading and securing loads, and acting as the first point of contact with customers on site.

Responsibilities include daily checks, accurate paperwork, and working on a Monday-Saturday rota with overtime. A full UK driving licence with up to six penalty points is required, with bonus points for C1 or D categories being

Qualifications

• Must have a full UK driving licence with no more than six penalty points.
• Experience driving 3.5t Luton in urban London and surrounding areas.
• Ability to lift and carry loads and work physically demanding days.
• Customer-facing role supporting on-site operations.

Responsibilities

• Drive Luton and 7.5t vehicles on removals, courier and pallet work across London and surrounding counties.
• Perform daily walkaround checks, record defects, keep vehicle clean and roadworthy.
• Load and secure loads and unload at destination, ensuring nothing shifts in transit.
• Collaborate with crew on packing, wrapping, dismantling and carrying.
• Handle paperwork accurately: delivery notes, proofs of delivery, timesheets and fuel receipts.
• Keep the office updated on delays, access problems and plan changes.
• Be the first point of contact for customers on site and represent the company well.
