Job summary

An innovative social services organization is seeking passionate substance use professionals for a hybrid role focused on supporting rough sleepers in London. The role involves conducting assessments, providing harm reduction support, and navigating local services to improve access to treatment. Candidates should have experience with substance use and homelessness issues, alongside skills in trauma-informed care. The starting salary is £31,835.65 per annum, with additional benefits including 25 days annual leave and a pension scheme.

Qualifications

  • Experienced in supporting people with substance use and/or homelessness issues.
  • Skilled in trauma-informed care and brief psychosocial interventions.
  • Knowledgeable about harm reduction practices concerning substance use.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with rough sleepers affected by drug and/or alcohol use.
  • Conduct needs and risk assessments in-person.
  • Provide trauma-informed, harm reduction support.

Skills

Experience in supporting people with substance use issues
