Job summary

The Cleveland Clinic London is seeking a Multi-skilled Shift Engineer to install and maintain reactive, planned, corrective and project works across building services. You will support electrical, mechanical, plumbing and HVAC systems while ensuring compliance with HTM standards.

Role involves 44-hour weeks on a rotating shift pattern (days/nights) from 7am to 7am with on-site responsibilities at 33 Grosvenor Place, London.

Qualifications

• Completion of a full Apprenticeship programme.
• HTM CP Qualification desirable.
• HTM AP Qualification desirable.
• Minimum requirement for C&G Level 3 Mechanical or Electrical qualification.
• CSCS or relevant Trade Card.
• Strong understanding and experience of Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, HVAC systems.
• Computer literacy with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office or equivalent.
• Healthcare and HTM experience advantageous.
• Previous CAFM Systems experience.
• Demonstrable experience within a similar position.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support in designated discipline(s) including Competent & Authorised Person duties.
• Liaise with specialist sub‑contractors and obtain quotes for relevant tasks.
• Identify required materials and liaise with designated suppliers to obtain quotations.
• Attend to tasks within the SLA and provide timely updates if not completed.
• Communicate with shift lead and management about tasks with critical or business impact.
• Use mobile device to capture times and add detailed notes.
• Escort contractors on site on behalf of management.
• Provide quotes with material costs for submission/approval.
• Ensure maintenance tasks meet or exceed SLAs for building plant, equipment and systems.
• Fault identification/rectification and escalation on fabric and M&E issues.
