Job summary

Jump is offering a software engineering internship in London for a 10-week period. You will work with our core development team to design, code, test, and maintain a distributed trading system on Linux.

Expect hands-on projects that follow our full-cycle Agile process and daily deployment practices. You will receive continuous feedback from a dedicated mentor and collaborate with experienced engineers to sharpen your C++ and Python skills while contributing to production-ready work.

Qualifications

• Experience with C++ programming on Linux.
• Experience with command line on Linux.
• Experience with Git/version control.
• Experience with Python programming on Linux.
• Strong understanding of data structures and threading models.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment and deploy new software daily.
• Passion for solving complex problems with innovative and commercial solutions.
• Interest in cross-domain knowledge (hardware, networking, OS) to build high-performance software.
• Reliable and predictable availability.

Responsibilities

• Join the core development team for a 10-week software engineering internship.
