The role focuses on supporting applications, policy research, and documentation, with opportunities to progress toward RTPI accreditation in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Town Planning or related discipline.
• Ideally some planning experience via placement, internship or graduate role.
• Good understanding of the UK planning system.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good research and analytical abilities.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation and submission of planning applications.
• Support creation of planning statements, reports and documentation.
• Undertake planning policy and development research.
• Liaise with local planning authorities and stakeholders.
• Support senior planners on various projects.
• Monitor planning applications and provide client updates.
• Assist with site appraisals and planning assessments.
• Develop knowledge of UK planning system and legislation.
