London Fire Alarm Install Engineer – Van & Pension

Job description

TXM Recruit are looking for 2x Fire Alarm Installers both to work in and around Central London to work with an independently owned fire and security company.

• Schedule – Monday to Friday 40 hours
• Salary – up to 40k with OTE on wards of 50k
• Location – Central London
• Extra – NO call out - OT in week 1.3x OT at weekend 1.5x OT on BHs is 2.0x
• 30 minute travel time each way given then paid from there

Key Responsibilities

• Install fire detection and alarm systems to guidance and recommendations of BS5839
• Uphold engineering practices and maintain company equipment in good condition
• Exhibit exemplary timekeeping and housekeeping at all work sites
• Report on work progress as requested by management
• Maintain effective client relationships to aid in securing future work
• Manage and account for tools and plant equipment on site to ensure alignment with project requirements
• Adhere to all health, safety, security, and environmental policies that impact both customers and fellow employees
• Deliver weekly progress reports to the Project Engineer and Project Manager

Requirements

• 17th or 18th Edition
• C&G 236 (part 1 & 2) Electrical Installation or equiv.
• FIA training completion, specifically Units 1 (Fire Detection Design) and Unit 4 (Installation and Testing)
• IPAF and PASMA
• Full UK Driving License
