Job summary

A managed services business is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to provide in-office support near Cavendish Square, London. The role is temp-perm from Monday to Friday. Responsibilities include desktop support, onboarding users, and managing IT incidents. Candidates should have experience with various OS and MS Office, as well as a minimum of 18 months in IT support and experience in a VIP environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months experience in IT support.
• Experience in a white glove / VIP environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality desk-side and remote support.
• Onboarding and offboarding users.
• Act as first point of contact for incidents and service requests.
• Providing technical support for desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Logging and managing tickets via Service Now.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot AV equipment.

Skills

Supporting W7/W8/W10/W11 OS

MS Office support including O365

AD and end user management

Basic networking concepts

Supporting AV equipment

Virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI)

Experience in a VIP environment
