Job summary

Anthropic in London is seeking a Contracts Manager to join our in-region commercial and legal operations. You will draft, negotiate, and manage complex commercial contracts across regional teams, partnering with Product, Sales, Finance, and Procurement to enable our AI initiatives.

You will help roll out scalable contracting processes, liaise with in-region counsel, and ensure alignment with global strategy while maintaining high standards of integrity and ethics.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of related contract management experience.
• Experience operating in a fast-paced technology startup or similar environment.
• Prior experience in global or distributed legal teams and cross-region collaboration.
• Autonomy with strong judgment on when to elevate decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft, analyze, negotiate, and complete complex commercial transactions with enterprise customers, vendors, and strategic partners including IP licensing agreements.
• Propose and develop scalable contracting solutions to improve efficiency and processes.
• Collaborate with business units and legal team to streamline contract management and manage risk.
• Work with Product, Sales, Business Operations, Research, and Procurement to achieve key business objectives.
• Coordinate with in-region counsel and global teams to triage regional matters and align with global strategy.
• Lead regional rollout of process improvements and policy updates initiated from headquarters.
• Provide cross-functional support across the legal function as needed.
