Job summary

Clyde & Co in London seeks a qualified solicitor with 3–4 years PQE in marine transactional work to join the Marine Assets and Projects team. You will work closely with corporate, dispute resolution and international offices on ships and marine projects.

You will handle shipbuilding contracts, sale and purchase, financing and charter party work, delivering practical, commercially aware advice to owners and operators.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years PQE in marine transactional work with BIMCO knowledge.
• Strong legal ability, initiative and risk awareness.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Qualified solicitor with practising certificate.

Responsibilities

• Handle shipbuilding contracts and related documentation.
• Manage ship sale and purchase transactions with supervision.
• Oversee ship financing arrangements and security interests.
• Draft and negotiate bareboat charters and time charter parties.
