Job summary

SKIMS is seeking a Finance Manager, EMEA based in London to own day-to-day accounting operations, close, statutory and management reporting. You will partner with Global Finance and regional leadership to ensure accuracy and scalable processes as SKIMS expands in Europe.

The role requires a fully qualified accountant with 5+ years’ post-qualification experience, strong UK accounting knowledge, and experience across multiple entities and markets. London-based, full-time, high-ownership position.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant or equivalent professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent) with 5+ years post-qualified experience.
• Experience within retail, fashion, consumer products, or e-commerce is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of UK accounting, statutory reporting, and audit requirements.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex month-end and year-end close processes.
• Strong understanding of balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany accounting, accruals, and financial controls.
• Experience working across multiple legal entities and international markets preferred.
• Experience implementing or improving accounts payable, bill-pay, or broader finance processes is highly desirable.
• Strong Excel skills and experience working with ERP and financial reporting systems. NetSuite experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for UK and EMEA entities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Manage and review journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, intercompany transactions, and other month-end activities.
• Own the preparation and review of monthly EMEA management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and analysis.
• Partner with Global Accounting and FP&A to ensure consistency between actuals, management reporting, and forecasting.
• Lead UK and EMEA statutory accounting and reporting.
• Coordinate UK VAT returns and regional indirect tax reporting.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls across EMEA.
• Support establishing accounting processes for new EMEA entities and markets.
• Act as a trusted point of contact for EMEA accounting matters.
• Help develop the EMEA Finance Team.
