Kairos Community Trust in London seeks a Chief Executive to lead with confidence, openness to innovation and inclusive leadership. You will shape strategy, drive financial sustainability and strengthen partnerships, while ensuring people with lived experience have a voice in decisions that affect their lives.

The role requires a thoughtful, compassionate leader who can unite staff, Board and funders to deliver lasting social impact and housing stability for those we serve.

Qualifications

• Experience in strategic or senior leadership in a charity/ social enterprise or related sector.
• Strong financial judgement and ability to support long-term sustainability.
• Experience leading and developing people through change.
• Collaborative governance and constructive Board relationship.

Responsibilities

• Provide inclusive strategic leadership and translate strategy into priorities with measurable impact.
• Provide inclusive, supportive leadership and develop a positive culture for staff and volunteers.
• Develop sustainable funding and responsible income opportunities with proportionate financial controls.
• Build trusted relationships with funders, partners and the wider community.
• Ensure services are safe, effective, financially sustainable and aligned with people’s needs.
• Provide the Board with timely advice, clear reporting and governance support.
• Raise Kairos’ profile across statutory, voluntary and community sectors.
• Oversee development and maintenance of Kairos’ housing stock.
• Work with managers on applying relevant legislation and regulation.
