Job summary

Beta Generation Academy in London is seeking After-School Club Teachers to lead engaging clubs for children aged 5–12 across Greater London. No teaching qualifications are required; full training is provided on the apps, platforms and lesson content you'll use, including Scratch basics.

Hours are generally 3:00pm–5:30pm. You will work as a self-employed contractor, with pay of £35 per club (including travel) and a commitment of at least two afternoons per week for a full term.

Qualifications

• Must be reliable and organised.
• Enthusiastic, friendly and patient.
• Confident and comfortable working with children.
• Willing to learn new technology.
• Able to commit to at least two afternoons per week during term time.

Responsibilities

• Lead after-school sessions for children aged 5–12.
• Follow ready-made lesson plans and activities.
• Demonstrate activities and support children as they work.
• Encourage creativity, curiosity and confidence.
• Manage a group of children and create a positive environment.
• Prepare for sessions and provide brief feedback afterwards.
• Attend online training and follow safeguarding procedures.
