Job summary

Culina Group is seeking a Project Manager to lead transformation projects across our logistics, warehousing and transport operations from our Warrington base. You will drive end-to-end delivery, coordinate with suppliers and customers, and ensure initiatives align with strategic objectives.

You will oversee CI initiatives under a major retail transport contract and, over time, expand to broader transport and warehousing projects. Strong planning, risk, and stakeholder skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven project management experience within logistics, transport, warehousing, or supply chain environments.
• Strong understanding of warehouse and transport operations.
• Knowledge of WMS, TMS, and related operational systems.
• Experience managing project scope, budgets, risks, issues, and change control processes.
• Ability to translate operational requirements into practical project solutions.
• Strong understanding of operational KPIs, reporting, and cost management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, and delivery schedules.
• Define project scope, requirements, assumptions, and success criteria.
• Ensure solutions are fit for purpose and aligned with operational requirements.
• Identify, manage, and escalate risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Coordinate stakeholders across operations, central functions, suppliers, and customers.
• Monitor project budgets, financial performance, and efficiency-saving opportunities.
• Manage change requests and maintain project governance.
• Produce project status reports, dashboards, and updates for senior stakeholders and PMO teams.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and operational readiness activities.
• Ensure effective project handover into business-as-usual operations.
• Capture lessons learned and promote continuous improvement.
