Overview

Lutron Electronics has an immediate opening for a Logistics Supervisor within the London office. In this position, you would be a key part of the Logistics and Supply Chain teams. A successful Logistics Supervisor will ensure reliable, cost-effective, and compliant movement of product while delivering a high level of customer service to internal and external stakeholders. This position requires strong leadership capabilities, technical logistics expertise, and the ability to motivate teams to consistently meet performance, cost and service objectives from our London office.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a key escalation point for internal stakeholders, ensuring transportation solutions align with customer expectations and business needs
  • Proactively communicate shipment status, risks, and resolutions to stakeholders
  • Partner with freight forwarders, carriers, and transportation brokers to identify and resolve performance issues addressing root cause
  • Provide expert guidance with international shipping documentation including commercial invoices, Shipper’s Letter of Instruction (SLI), and Letters of Credit (LC)
  • Ensure full compliance with customs, export controls, and trade regulations while supporting commercial agility
  • Lead, coach, and motivate small operational teams to achieve expected performance outcomes
  • Set clear goals, performance metrics, and accountability standards for project teams
  • Provide training and development to logistic teams to build technical logistics knowledge and systems proficiency
  • Lead or support transportation-related projects including customer focused initiatives, lane set-up, lane optimization, system implementation, and cost-reduction initiatives
  • Apply structured project management practices to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of initiatives
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance service, reduce costs, and mitigate risk
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in global logistics
  • Professional certifications such as CSCP, CLTD, or PMP are a plus
  • Demonstrated experience leading and motivating small teams to deliver defined outcomes
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience driving to root cause, corrective and preventive action
  • Experience supporting global or multi-region supply chains.
  • Computer skills – experience with ERP, TMS, MS Office including PowerBi
  • Willingness to travel internationally 10% of the time
