Job summary

Marshall Land Systems is recruiting a Logistics Operative to support daily warehouse and stores operations in Merthyr Tydfil. The role focuses on accurate stock control, adherence to safety procedures, and maintaining high service standards.

Responsibilities include monitoring stock levels, assisting with audits, and contributing to continuous improvement while working within a regulated industry toward operational targets.

Qualifications

  • Experience working in a stores or warehouse environment.
  • Understanding of stock control and inventory processes.
  • Experience handling and managing stock within a stores or warehouse environment.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Basic IT skills with good numerical ability.
  • Forklift licence (Desirable)
  • Certification in Dangerous Goods handling Desirable)

Responsibilities

  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and organisation within the warehouse environment
  • Follow all company procedures, processes, and compliance requirements
  • Support internal and external audits, ensuring documentation and processes are audit ready
  • Proactively identify and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Investigate and resolve customer queries or concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Ensure warehouse security and maintain appropriate access controls
  • Work collaboratively as part of the wider team to achieve operational targets and objectives

Additional local needs:
  • Full time working onsite would be required, Merthyr Tydfil – South Wales
  • Successful candidate would be required to complete a BPSS check
