Job summary

Morson Human Resources Limited in the North East is seeking an experienced Logistics Site Manager to support a construction project at HMP Northumberland. You will supervise day-to-day site logistics, coordinating materials, labour, plant and deliveries to keep the programme moving safely and efficiently.

You will lead a small team of around 6 labourers, manage subcontractors and ensure RAMS compliance, site security and clean, organised working environments on a challenging prison site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading site logistics on construction projects.
• Strong planning and organisational skills to manage materials, labour and deliveries.
• Ability to coordinate with subcontractors and project team to maintain programme.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site logistics for the new housing block development.
• Coordinate a team of around 6 labourers and subcontractors.
• Organise ordering, delivery, storage and distribution of materials.
• Coordinate deliveries to support the programme of works.
• Manage site access, unloading areas and storage locations.
• Allocate daily tasks and monitor productivity.
• Liaise with site management and wider project team.
• Ensure RAMS compliance and safe working practices.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Assist with daily planning and coordination of activities.
• Attend site meetings and provide updates on logistics requirements.
• Identify potential logistical issues before they impact the programme.
