A healthcare institution is seeking a Logistics Services Assistant to ensure timely delivery and collection of goods and waste across its facilities. Candidates must possess a valid UK driving license and be physically fit for demanding tasks. Responsibilities include managing medical supplies and supporting clinic deliveries. The position offers generous leave and various employee benefits. The role will transition to a new corporate collaboration on 1 November 2024.

Grade - Band 2
Hours – 12 hours per week (Monday and Tuesday)
Salary – £24,465 pro rata
Current vacant hours - 12 hours
Responsible for ensuring collection and delivery of goods, food, waste including clinical waste throughout the Trust, following strict policies and standard operating practices over the 24/7 period. Manage replacement of medical gas cylinders, daily pharmacy/pathology stock runs, handling of blood and other sample products, and support offsite logistics teams for GP/clinic deliveries.
