Job Title: Logistics Operator
Job Description

We offer an exciting opportunity to join our Logistics team. As a Logistics Operative, you will work with a team servicing production, handling picking and packing of finished goods and raw materials, ensuring high service standards aligned with business and customer requirements.

Key Duties
  1. Operate in accordance with site health, safety, environmental, and quality standards, including safe operation of warehousing equipment like forklifts. Report any issues promptly.
  2. Complete shift handover documentation accurately and file in the designated tray.
  3. Operate from Hall 3: scan and unwrap pallets, issue film to presses based on order requirements and print plans.
  4. Remove RTS reels from print presses, weigh, record, strap, and store in the RTS holding area.
  5. Empty bailers and skips, weigh and remove waste to designated areas.
  6. Manage waste and unused materials responsibly, maintaining cleanliness and safety in Hall 3 and yard.
  7. Wrap, strap, and book finished goods in.
  8. Manage pallet stocks, ensuring efficient storage and re-stocking of pallets and interleaves.
  9. Load and unload deliveries using forklifts or trucks, log activities, and handle documentation properly.
  10. Support colleagues and undertake additional duties as required.
Skills, Qualifications & Attributes
  • Licensed Forklift Truck driver – Counterbalance, Bendi & Powered Pallet Trucks
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills
  • Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment

The site operates a 24/7 shift system in a four-week pattern, covering days, nights, and weekends. Shifts are 12 hours each, following this pattern:

  • Week 1 – 4 nights, 3 off
  • Week 2 – 3 days, 1 off, 3 nights
  • Week 3 – 3 off, 4 days
  • Week 4 – 7 off
