Overview

Job Title: Logistics Operative (Submarines)

Working Pattern: Full time (Days)

Working location: Derby - There will also be requirement to work in Coalville

You will operate within a physical logistics environment supporting the business and working with logistics providers where appropriate within a set of defined processes and procedures. You will also support improvements of the services which support logistics operations; Accountable for delivering key services as instructed by the logistics leadership defined within the key accountabilities framework.

What you will be doing

With this exciting opportunity you will get a chance to be involved with the following:

  • Operating within defined logistics and production processes while implementing improvement activities as directed by the Logistics Lead.
  • Ensuring accurate data input into business systems in accordance with quality standards.
  • Completing and accurately recording all system moves and accounting transactions (SAP) to align with physical stock movements.
  • Managing and controlling accurate stock and inventory reporting to maintain executive systems and meet business demands.
  • Ensuring Pick Lists meet production requirements and issuing materials within business Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Security and Eligibility

To work for Rolls-Royce Submarines, you need to hold a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you don’t currently already have this in place. Due to the nature of work the business conducts and the protection of certain assets, you must hold a UK nationality. Any dual nationals will require additional scrutiny and background checks prior to commencing work with RRSL.
