A leading healthcare provider in Nottingham is seeking a Logistics Transport Assistant to support the efficient movement of goods and services. You will ensure high standards of transportation services, maintain vehicle readiness, and assist healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will have basic health and safety knowledge and a friendly demeanor, working in a dynamic healthcare setting. This role requires flexibility in hours, including weekends and bank holidays.
The post holder will provide support and assistance to Healthcare Professionals within all areas of the Trust. The role will be to work under the direction of the Logistics Transport Team Leader and are primarily concerned with the movement of goods and services in the most efficient and effective way, using the correct lifting and handling equipment.
The post holder will be responsible for providing a high quality service from designated destinations as directed, maintaining high standards of service delivery and ensuring the safety and well‑being of patients, staff and visitors at all times. They will be responsible for ensuring that all vehicles meet the daily demands of this service.

Hours of work are 37.5 per week working between the hours of 6am and 9pm on a rota basis which will include weekends and bank holidays.
