Job summary

Rheinmetall Weapon Munitions UK Limited in Telford is seeking a reliable Logistics Operative to move materials from goods receipt through to production. You will operate FLT and cranes, perform SAP-based goods-inward processing, and support manufacturing in a new, on-site facility. The role requires hands-on teamwork, safety awareness, and the ability to work independently in a growing site environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in Logistics/Warehouse environments.
• FLT- and Crane-Licence required.
• SAP knowledge in logistics.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, as part of a team or individually.
• Experience operating FLT and Cranes.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks using forklifts and overhead cranes.
• Check delivered goods for damage and quantity accuracy.
• Record goods-inward in SAP.
• Store, move and manage inventory in SAP.
• Supply materials for production needs.
• Package materials for external transport.
• Load trucks using forklifts and cranes.
• Empty containers with forklifts (e.g., metal chips from CNC machines).
• Move barrels, breech blocks and weapon systems around the site.
