Job summary

A reputable aerospace client in Essex is looking for a Logistics Operative to join their team. The candidate will manage inventory, process incoming goods, and ensure inventory accuracy. Applicants must have logistics experience and a clean UK driving license. This is a contract position offering 37 hours of work per week.

Qualifications

  • Logistics, retail, or warehouse experience is essential.
  • Familiarity with SAP or a similar business system.
  • Must have a clean UK driving licence.
  • Certifications for lifting equipment are desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately perform picking and put away of inventory.
  • Control and process incoming goods receipts.
  • Conduct perpetual inventory checks.
  • Pack deliverable items.
  • Process customer repairs.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and batch traceability.

Morson Talent are currently recruiting for a Logistics Operative to work on the behalf of one of our reputable Aerospace clients based in Basildon.

Job Description

To work within the Logistics Team performing set daily tasks to support the transition of material through the hub to meet business requirements and service level agreements.

Carry out a range of tasks including Goods Receipt, Picking, Stock relocation, Repair receipt, packing, Perpetual inventory checks, Intersite transport etc Work in line with business process, SAP, and local Logistics standard Operating processes

Key areas of responsibility

  • Perpetual inventory checks.
  • Packing of deliverable items
  • Customer repair receipt and processing
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and batch traceability

The successful candidate will need to undertake security vetting to SC level and willing to sign the OSA.

The position will be based at our off site facility located about two miles from the main site.

Contract position 37 hours per week
