Job description

We are seeking a highly skilledand motivated Logistics Manager to oversee and enhance all logistics operations for our busy nationwide cleaning business. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of stock management right through from ordering to distribution into our fleet of vehicles. Coordination of staff deployment and planning of vehicle allocation and routes. We operate a 24/7 service and require a fully flexible candidate able to work weekends and night shifts as and when required. The role will also involve emergency call out availability as required.

Organise and supervise daily operations for the transportation of staff, cleaning equipment and supplies to various job sites.

Create and manage route plans to optimise delivery efficiency and reduce travel time.

Prepare daily and weekly schedules to allocate cleaning staff and drivers appropriately across sites.

Maintain accurate stock levels of all cleaning supplies, PPE and consumables.

Oversee cleanliness, safety and organisation of the companies warehouse and storage facility.

Ensure all logistics activities are compliant with company policies and UK legislation including transport and manual handling regulations.

Ensure proper labelling,handling and storage of chemicals in line with health and safety regulations.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align logistics strategies with overall business objectives.

Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management is essential.

Full clean UK driving licence.

Familiarity with health and safety regulations including COSHH.

Strong data analysis skills are required to drive informed decision-making.

Proficient in MS office.
