Qualifications

  • Ideally qualified to degree level in Logistics, BREXIT regulation and Business practices.
  • Experience in ERP systems, preferably SAP.
  • 5 years of successful experience in leading a relevant SC function.

Contract: Full time, permanent, Monday to Friday 37.5 hours

Responsibilities
  • Lead the Warehouse team, ensuring full compliance with company, site and regulatory standards (BRC, ISO14001, A2 Permit) and championing a zero-accident health & safety culture.
  • Oversee all logistics operations, including goods in/out, stock control, stock integrity, housekeeping and general maintenance; minimise stock damage through strong processes.
  • Take accountability for Warehousing, Transport and Logistics across the Wigan site.
  • Lead procurement of UK, EU and international transport solutions, ensuring on-time delivery targets are met.
  • Control all raw material and finished goods storage, handling and distribution, including accurate monthly stock checks.
  • Become the site expert in post-BREXIT import/export procedures to resolve any delivery issues quickly.
  • Manage costs within your area while maintaining safety and supply chain quality.
  • Motivate, lead and develop the Warehouse team to achieve high performance.
  • Create and own action plans to continuously improve logistics performance.
Qualifications
  • Ideally qualified to degree level in Logistics, BREXIT regulation and Business practices.
  • Experience in process optimisation, LEAN methodologies as well as organisational change management.
  • Experience in ERP systems, preferably SAP.
  • 5 years of successful experience in leading a relevant SC function.
  • Experience in building and leading a team on delivering against KPIs.
  • Able to give strong “STAR” examples of results delivery in a complex environment.
