Atkinson Baker Associates are currently recruiting a detail-oriented Logistics Manager on behalf of an Established Multi-Disciplined Main Contractor.

The Client

Our client is an established main contractor delivering high-spec healthcare and residential facilities. Mobilizing on a £7m multi-storey care home expansion and rebuild project, they require an experienced Logistics Manager to coordinate all deliveries, plant machinery, and site logistics.

The Role

You will oversee all logistical movements on site, managing material deliveries and plant while working in close proximity to an active adjacent healthcare environment.

Your duties will include:

• Delivery Management: Scheduling material deliveries, controlling site access gates, and coordinating unloading procedures.
• Site Organization: Managing storage compounds, welfare facilities, and waste disposal routes.
• Traffic Control: Banking heavy haulage and delivery vehicles to ensure minimal disruption to adjacent local roads and neighbours.
• Safety Protocols: Maintaining pedestrian walkways, PPE compliance, and tidy site conditions.

Requirements

• Experience: Experience managing site logistics, traffic, and materials for main contractors.
• Certifications: CSCS card, SSSTS/SMSTS, and Traffic Marshall/Banksman qualification.
• Attributes: Clear communicator, highly organized, and proactive regarding site health and safety.

The Package

• Base Salary: £50,000 - £55, 000 per annum.
• Opportunity: A permanent role within an expanding contractor operating across the South West.
