Qualifications

Logistics Manager – Permanent

Location: Leicester, SHIRE. Secure a role with a leading main contractor.

Our projects span Commercial, Education, Major Projects, and Industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage projects to ensure safe completion in line with programme, specification and budget.
  • Maintain highest safety standards.
  • Contribute to value engineering and build‑ability of the project.
  • Agree programmes and construction methods with planners and relevant production personnel.
  • Marshal resources for overall control and execution of works, including selecting sub‑contractors.
  • Ensure key dates, resource requirements, production rates and overhead targets are established, monitored and controlled.
  • Manage multi‑disciplinary teams.
  • Cost control.
  • Establish and maintain commercial and financial control systems, procedures and standards to meet contractual requirements.
Experience and Qualifications
  • Experience working within the construction industry, specifically Design and Build.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects as Assistant Site Manager/Site Manager on projects £30m+ in value.
  • Experience as Logistics Manager with a main contractor.
  • Strong verbal and written communication.
  • Current CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid certification.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy site and understand contractor’s high‑score requirements.
