You’re a confident leader with a solid background in logistics, distribution, or transport operations — ideally within pallet networks or similar multi-drop environments. You know how to balance people, performance, and process, and you’re motivated by achieving measurable results.

As the logistics & transport Manager, you’ll be at the heart of a busy pallet network operation — taking full ownership of its financial and operational performance. You’ll lead from the front, ensuring the site delivers on customer expectations, runs efficiently, and maintains the highest standards of safety, compliance, and profitability.

This logistics & transport manager role is ideal for someone who loves operational excellence, enjoys developing people, and wants to make a real impact in a growing logistics environment.

What You’ll Be Doing as the logistics & transport manager

  • Lead and inspire your team to deliver a high-performing, customer-focused operation
  • Monitor KPIs, ensuring all service levels and performance targets are achieved
  • Create a culture of continuous improvement across all areas of the network
  • Manage costs and resources effectively to meet business goals
  • Oversee recruitment, training, and development within your department
  • Take ownership of health, safety, and compliance standards
  • Build strong working relationships across departments and with key stakeholders
  • Drive operational efficiency, vehicle compliance, and effective route planning
  • Provide insightful reports and performance analysis to senior management
  • Be the go-to point of contact for the team and key clients, ensuring consistent communication and delivery
