A dynamic event management company is seeking a part-time Logistics Manager to oversee the procurement of goods and services for festivals and events. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of management experience in events, possess strong organizational and communication skills, and be ready to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends. Job description
The Role

Plantpot Ltd owns and operates the Green Man festival and other events, we are looking to appoint a part time Logistics Manager to join our team. They will be responsible for procuring goods and services for our festivals and events and disseminating and collating event information to and from event managers and crew.

Areas of Responsibilities include:
  • Procuring goods, infrastructure and services for events and projects
  • Planning the logistical requirements for events
  • Working to budgets, ensuring value for money and functionality
  • Collating and checking supplier’s insurance, RAMS and sustainability policies
  • Maintaining the Master Schedule for each Project
  • Offering administrative support to the Operations Director
  • Attending meetings, taking and distributing minutes
  • Researching equipment, services and concepts
  • Managing and monitoring any staff working to you
Job Requirements
  • Minimum two years' management experience in events or construction projects
  • Experience dealing with contracts and negotiations
  • Experience of financial management and budget control
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and a diligent worker
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Willingness to work unsocial hours, including evenings and weekends
Desirable
  • Experience of working at music festivals/outdoor events
  • Full UK driving license
Hours
  • This contract is part time, 180 days per year, see Job Description for breakdown of days
