Job description

NEW POSITION

We are recruiting for someone who has warehouse and goods in / out experience with a FULL UK driving license to join our client.

Stock Inventory

Counting in/out stock and keeping up stock levels. Keep track of any stock removed for jobs and add to RZ - informing accounts parts have been removed from stock and what job they have been allocated to.

Goods In and Out

Taking in deliveries and adding delivery notes to RZ + informing the office to allow them to book in the works.

Parts Ordering

If required you may be asked to order parts to assist other. you will be required to speak with deferent supplied to get the best price and most suitable delivery date to ensure works are not delayed.

Tools Control

Checking test dates and ensuring all tools are accounted for + in good condition. When parts or tools need to be sent away, arranging with courier companies. Checking calibrations are in date and records upkept + calibration certificates are kept in a folder for ease of access for all office staff (folder in Drop dox) - Tools to be asset tagged and listed.

Workshop

Ensuring workshop and all spaces are kept clean and tidy. This includes but not all: Goods in shelf, racking, parts shelves, floor space, benches, scrap bins, outside area.

Collections / Deliveries

Managing you day to arrange collections and drop off parts or equipment. This could be local or further afield. To include Landside and Airside. Assisting with deliveries Airside and when required, assisting the engineers with onsite lift and shift logistical works.

Vehicles

Keeping records of all vehicles and ensuring good general condition -MOT - TAX - HAL Checks to be tracked. Weekly vehicle checks and reporting defect to line manager. Scheduling and transporting to garages to resolve any issues.
